Festival of Angels takes place annually
in The Quarter, York on the penultimate
weekend before Christmas
This year, 2008, it is on Saturday 13th and Sunday 14th of December
Ice sculptures line the streets, there is guaranteed snow, music, food and drink
We begin to set up at 10 am but the event is fully ready to begin at noon. Both days we begin to pack down at about 4pm
The Quarter is fully accessible, with food, drink, shopping and good cheer for all
The Parade of Angels is on Sunday. In 2007 we met at Dean Garden, next to the Minster at 3.30.
The Parade left at 3.45. This can change depending on the police constraints. Watch this space. Simply come in your angel gear. All ages welcome.
The parade ends in The Quarter with Father Christmas.
